What did we find when testing CAR40 on Noon UAE?

CouponKhaleej editorial team · Updated

Short answer: on 18 October 2026, CAR40 was accepted in a cart on the Noon UAE store before payment, and checkout displayed 21.20 AED cashback on a 212 AED cart total. No purchase was completed and no credits were paid, so this is evidence of cart acceptance only — not of a sale or an actual cashback payout.

What we tested and how

The site owner entered CAR40 in a real cart on the Noon UAE store, reached checkout without paying, and recorded what the page showed in a screenshot. Screenshots, order and account identifiers are private and not published; we publish only the displayed figures and the outcome.

Our standard: a code counts as “accepted in cart” when an acceptance message and a cashback line appear before payment. That is a limited level of verification and we call it exactly that.

Result on the UAE store

Displayed cart total: 212 AED. Cashback displayed before payment: 21.20 AED. Status: code accepted in the cart.

The figure equals 10% of the displayed total in this case and is below the recorded new-customer cap (50 AED). That does not prove how Noon calculates the base for every basket, nor does it guarantee the same result on another account.

  • Country: United Arab Emirates
  • Currency: AED
  • Cart: 212 AED
  • Cashback displayed: 21.20 AED
  • Status: accepted in cart before payment

And in Saudi Arabia?

The same day, a similar test on the Noon Saudi store displayed 20.70 SAR cashback on a 210.49 SAR cart, and the code was also accepted in the cart. Note that 20.70 is not exactly 10% of 210.49 (about 9.8%), so we do not claim to know the eligible calculation base. Details are in the Arabic Saudi edition of this report.

Why we call it “accepted in cart” only

Internally we separate three levels of evidence: code accepted in the cart before payment, a completed and delivered order, and a provider report confirming the code was used. This test sits at the first level only. We have not turned it into a “sale” or a “confirmed cashback”, because that would need evidence that does not exist. Your account may be classed differently and your basket may differ in eligibility, so you may see another figure.

What this test does not prove

To avoid reading more into the report than it says:

  • No purchase was completed and no order was delivered.
  • No Noon Credits were added and no cashback was paid.
  • It does not guarantee the code will work for your account or basket.
  • It does not reveal unannounced terms or possible exclusions.
  • There is no announced end date, which does not mean the code is valid forever.

How to use this report

Treat it as an indication that the code was being accepted in UAE carts on the test date, then check checkout yourself before paying. Our recorded CAR40 UAE terms: new customers 10% up to 50 AED, existing customers 5% up to 10 AED, with cashback credited as Noon Credits after delivery per Noon’s help article.

We will retest and update this page if the result changes or we receive a credible report, under the verification and corrections policies published on this site.

How this site earns: CouponKhaleej receives a commission from Noon only when the code is actually used on an order and reported by the programme provider — not for page views or link clicks. This does not change what you pay, and we are not Noon and do not speak for Noon.

Frequently asked questions

Did you actually buy with the code?

No. The test stopped before payment; there is no completed purchase.

Did the cashback arrive?

No, because no order was completed. The figure is what was displayed before payment.

Why not publish the screenshot?

It contains private account data; we publish only the displayed figures.

Will the code keep working?

We do not know. There is no announced end date, and it may stop or change at any time.
